Starwood Preferred Guest opened registration today for Great Weeks, Grand Weekends, its initial 2018 promotion of double points (4 points/$1) beginning second stay, plus 500 bonus points per stay for a weekend night from January 16 to April 15, 2018. Bonus points only start with second stay during promotion period.

Looks like most hotels worldwide are participating.
Nothing too exciting here with SPG double points. Think I’ll be sticking with IHG for bonus points opportunities this winter. Club Carlson also tends to offer lucrative winter promotion bonuses (2017), (2015) and I am awaiting their promotion offer.
