Park Inn Residence Riga Barona has kitchens

The new Park Inn Residence Riga Barona in Latvia opened in late October 2016. This property caught my eye on a Riga trip in April. Park Inn hotel would have been a great deal for my off-season stay with rates around 60 EUR per night. The unique feature of rooms at the Park Inn Residence Riga are kitchen units in the guest rooms and the availability of apartment style suites.

Park Inn Riga

In July, when I will be in Riga again, Park Inn Residence Barona is the most expensive of six Club Carlson properties in Riga at $166/night. Four other Club Carlson hotels in Riga are Radisson Blu properties.

Rad Blu Latvija

Radisson Blu Latvija is one of three Radisson Blu hotels in a small area of central Riga.

Another new Park Inn Riga Valdemara recently opened on the west side of the Daugava River. The tourist zone  with Old Town Riga is the east side of the river.

What makes Park Inn Residence Barona unique for the Carlson brand is each unit has kitchen facilities. There are one and two bedroom full-size apartments in the building, some with a balcony or terrace.
