Wyndham Rewards 3x points March 7-May 25 looks like great deal for me

Wyndham Rewards has a high value triple points promotion for hotel stays March 7 to May 25, 2017 at any of 15 hotel brands worldwide.

Registration is required. The promotion states Wyndham Rewards member must have received promotion email.

I only noticed the promotion today when I logged into my account and saw 3x points link on my account page. I registered.

A subsequent search of my email showed I received this offer last Tuesday, March 7.

All Wyndham brand hotel stays on eligible rates earn 10 points per $1.00 USD in room rate or a minimum 1,000 points. Triple points means a minimum 3,000 points per hotel stay.

Three aspects of this promotion give it a high value rating for my travels and maybe yours.

1. Low rates at thousands of Wyndham Worldwide hotels in its 15 brands.

I have my eye on some hotel nights in Europe where rates are less than $40 per night. Days Inn Riga has rates as low as 33.30 EUR per night or 37 EUR with 2,000 bonus points on a 2-night stay.

2. 1,000 or 2,000 bonus points package rates for $10/10EUR more per night.

Many hotels offer 1,000 or 2,000 bonus points with package rates at a low rate of $10 or 10 EUR extra per night compared to lowest advance purchase rate.

Wyndham Rewards sells points for $10 per 1,000 points, however, a member can only buy 5,000 points in a calendar year.

1,000 points on a one-night stay or 2,000 points on a 2-night or longer stay, along with at least 3,000 points for a paid stay offers fast-track account growth.

3. Wyndham Rewards GoFast rates for 3,000 points + cash co-pay potentially save $100+ per night on room rates.

There are hotels where GoFast reward rate discounts exchange 3,000 points redeemed for a $50 to $100 per night hotel rate reduction. My previous example showed hotels where a paid room night is under $40 for earning 3,000 Wyndham Rewards points along with a cheap hotel stay during this promotion.

Redeeming 3,000 points for GoFast reward nights is where you can find real value with Wyndham higher end hotels.

Ramada Zurich City, Switzerland

Ramada Zurich

3,000 Wyndham Rewards points drops rate from 180 CHF ($178.90 USD) to 88.50 CHF ($87.96 USD) for a summer night stay.

Ramada Zurich GoFast

Ramada Zurich City on a Wyndham Rewards GoFast room night makes Zurich, Switzerland affordable. One of the world’s most expensive tourist cities offers a Wyndham Rewards deal to save $90 on the published room rate with 3,000 Wyndham Rewards points.

One or two nights at Days Inn Riga, Latvia or Days Inn Anytown, USA or any of the other 7,000+ Wyndham brand hotels worldwide can earn 3,000 points or more per night at a low rate for the next three months.

There is real value to be found with 3,000 Wyndham Rewards points and GoFast Reward nights.

  1. T&C say “The 3X Points Offer is exclusive to Wyndham Rewards Members who receive the 3X Points Offer Email”.

Oh well. I haven’t had any stays there this year, but might have if included in the promo. I guess I’ll stick to Choice.

  2. Great find, I missed the email as well and have the offer on my account page.
Are you sure about the 3x = 3,000 points minimum – have you had any stay under the promotion?
When I have stayed at rates below $100, the points would post as “Hotel Stay” (rate*10) and a go get’em bonus for the difference (1000-(rate*10)).
The T&C only refer to 3x the base points, which I’d think/fear are only the hotel stay points, not the go get’em bonus points…
Anybody else had luck with 3,000 points posting under this promotion on a rate below $100?

  3. @Rupert – I am not sure about the 3,000 points minimum. That information would be nice if any reader can confirm with a completed stay.

I should probably test promotion with a stay in USA.
