There was an opportunity yesterday to purchase round trip tickets departing July 2017 on Delta from Philadelphia to Dublin for $347 round trip and $387 round trip from Chicago. This fare had wide open availability from Sep-July at the time I noticed it at 8am Pacific. While the low fare was posted on several blogs, all the articles I read stated the fare was valid to May, but when I checked at 8am, there was availability through the end of schedule with most dates in July 2017 in the $300s round trip. I was in a dead zone in the California hills with no cell phone reception and no social media access. All I managed was a simple comment on the last article posted on Loyalty Traveler around 10am. By the time I was back to my computer to write up this deal at 5pm, it was gone.
Today there is still a deal available from Philadelphia with Delta Airlines for flights as low as $463 round trip on dates from next week to May 2017. United has a deal for summer travel in Ireland for July 2017 as long as you depart by June 30.

United Airlines offers flight departures up to June 30, 2017 for under $500 round trip. United Airlines prices tickets to Dublin at $592 on its own website for June 30-July 13, but I found Star Alliance flights for a ticket priced as low as $469 round trip through Momondo.com OTA searches. American Airlines has this route on sale for $641 round trip, another good fare for summer travel.

Yesterday’s low fares to Dublin at $387 round trip from Chicago are not even the lowest fares Delta offered this summer. On July 16 Delta had ORD-DUB at $348 round trip and PHL-DUB at $308. But that deal was not offered for July 2017 travel, like it was yesterday.
