AA/DL/UA major winter fare sale New York JFK to Europe 12 cities Jan 11-March 31

There is a pattern to the great deals seen today to Europe from around the USA. A major winter fare sale to 12 cities in Europe from 8 USA airports is happening with American, Delta and United and their alliance partners. These deals are all from airports with Icelandair routes and even lower fares on most routes with Icelandair.

New York JFK is one of those Icelandair airports.

I have covered Seattle, Portland, Denver and Washington D.C. That leaves Boston, Chicago and Orlando for fare deals you might want to look for yourself if you don’t want to wait for me to get around to those cities.

New York JFK Low Fare Deals to Europe November – March 2017 departures

• low fares in $400s January 11-March 31
• some routes have December fares even lower and some of the airlines offer discount fares all the way to Saturday December 20. This means a Christmas season trip to Europe is possible with return dates in last week of December and first days of January.
• Icelandair has November dates for November to March 31 discount fares.
• not all cities are on sale from all USA airports with discount fares.
• This sale started over the weekend and there is wide open availability on each major alliance airline on many routes for nearly any date Jan 11 – March 31.
• Fares rise to $700s+ for April 1 departures during this sale.

I show more airline alliance possibilities from JFK for the Amsterdam route than shown for other destinations in Europe. There are many alliance partners available for slightly more cost from New York JFK. There are possibilities for an 16 to 24 hour overnight transit stop in a European hub city, if you want that kind of trip. Icelandair allows free stopover in Iceland.
