As I expected after seeing low United fares Newark EWR to London earlier today at $500 round trip, this is a fare alert that a fare war has broken out in New York airports to London. American dropped fares to $466.16 round trip for British Airways nonstop flights New York JFK – London Gatwick LGW. Low fares start Oct 21 and extend through Dec 14 at $467 most dates and maximum $504 at 3:00pm Pacific time Fri July 8.

American Airlines/British Airways New York JFK to London LHR nonstop flights are priced at $504, the same as Delta, but AA has a far longer window of dates. United has its $504 fares from Newark EWR-London LHR. There are not low $504 fares from JFK with United’s Star Alliance European airline partners at time of posting.

SkyTeam has $504 fares on Virgin Atlantic nonstop, but relatively few dates with only from Oct 15-31.
