Fare alert on very low fare United round trip tickets from Newark to Stockholm at $348 and Oslo at $425 round trip for departures mid-October to Dec 15. Here is the deal.
SecretFlying.com calls this an error fare, but I disagree. This is a competitive fare to Icelandair who posted $500 fares in September and Icelandair drops to $348 round trip on some dates October to December.
Icelandair is also a good ticket to consider since you can book near free stopover in Iceland on your round trip ticket for a chance to see winter northern lights and other Icelandic adventures.
Further fare searches after my initial post shows round trip tickets on United as low as $348 for EWR-ARN Stockholm. Originally I posted $373 round trip. There are many dates from mid-October to December 15 with round trip ticket prices in $300s to Stockholm and low $400s to Oslo. Copenhagen is a low fare in $400s on Icelandair, but only $597 on Star Alliance. Though Newark EWR – Copenhagen at $600Â round trip for SAS nonstop flights are tickets available for departures from mid-August.
