Star Alliance carrier LOT Polish has a $588 round trip fare from New York JFK to Paris CDG via Warsaw. Most dates on Google Flights from October 14 to December 4 show $589 fare, then rise for December and drop to $589 again nearly every date Jan 17-March 28, 2017. This is the lowest fare of any airline on most dates, although Norwegian Airlines has some date with fares in mid-$400s. The main drawback to LOT ticket is longer travel time since going to Warsaw, then flying west back to Paris.
Another feature of the LOT ticket is this low fare is booked in LOT economy U class, which turns out to be no miles earning fare with United Mileage Plus and many other Star Alliance programs. Miles & More, Aegean, SAS and Turkish give 25% miles.

There are plenty of dates for cheap travel to Paris on LOT. Kind of strange to have a low fare with no miles in most programs. Makes lounge access for elites the main reason to go with a Star Alliance carrier over other airlines if comparable fares.
