Wake up. Today is one of those days with a low fare war between Delta and United to Europe for travel November to March 2017. The story so far is Delta dropped fares to Dublin to $300s from Washington IAD and San Francisco SFO, with Moscow and Istanbul in $400s. United has fares like Seattle to Dublin $523 or Seattle to Barcelona $601, United has Atlanta to Paris $656. Dozens of other cities in Europe are priced in the $600s round trip. This fare war is happening in a number of USA markets.

Typical fares from these airports is Dublin, Ireland is $320 from IAD, $380 from SFO and low $500s from Atlanta or Minneapolis or Denver.

I became aware of this sale around 8:30am Pacific when I found San Francisco to Dublin on Delta for $376 round trip.
No telling how long it will last, but probably not through this Friday the 13th.
