Hilton HHonors extended its double points global promotion available since the beginning of 2016 for another four months. From May 1 to August 31, 2016 earn double points for hotel stays worldwide. Double points means double base points = 20 points $1. HHonors Points and Points earners receive 25 points per dollar, plus elite bonuses.
All Hilton brands normally earn 10 base points per dollar in hotel spend, including room rate and incidental spend, except Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites and Home2 Suites only earn HHonors points for room rate. Also, Home2 Suites stays only earn 5 base points per dollar, so double points at Home2 Suites is 12.5 points per dollar for HHonors Points & Points earners..

- unlike SPG’s summer 2016 Triple Up promotion, which credits eligible stays completed during the promotion period retroactively as long as member registers for promotion at least two weeks before end of promotion, HHonors only awards double points for hotel stays completed after promotion registration.
