Qatar LAX to Seychelles $880 round trip in peak season

a map of the world

Los Angeles LAX to Mahe, Seychelles, off the east coast of Africa at $900 on Google Flights caught my attention. Recently, I was thinking how these islands have been high priced most days as I scanned over the region and rarely saw anything under $1,400. Looks like a kind of fare war between the regional international airlines with Emirates, Etihad and Qatar all offering fares around $880 to $930 round trip from Los Angeles to Mahe, Seychelles SEZ. Low fare dates are available all the way into winter 2017.

Seychelles Peak Season December to February

I had to check to learn peak season for the Seychelles is December to February. Around New Year’s are supposedly the highest hotel rates of the year with some properties requiring minimum 5-night stay.

I first received an Apple computer in 1995 for my classroom in Maine. There was a photo of a Seychelles island beach I would gaze at and dream of being on a tropical island in the middle of a long Maine brutal cold winter when frequent blizzards used up all the school snow days for the year by January.

Hi Rick how do you retrieve fares for fall/winter 2017, Qatar only provides fares for 365 days out?

Jan 15-26 is winter 2017 and that is less than 365 days away.
