Best Western $25 Travel Card every 2 stays Feb 8-May 8

Best Western Rewards has a spring promotion for $25 Best Western Travel Card every two stays from February 8 to May 8, 2016. This promotion is limited to hotel stays in USA, Canada and Caribbean. Each member can earn up to five travel cards during the promotion.

Promotion registration required prior to completion of first eligible stay.

One of the major limitations of this promotion is the terms and conditions state the Travel Card expires 120 days after issuance. The 4-month period of $25 travel card validity seems unnecessarily short to me as a loyalty program incentive.

I used a $100 Best Western Travel Card in Amsterdam last week without any issue. Even though you can only earn the Best Western $25 Travel Card at US, Canada and Caribbean hotels, the Travel Card itself should be valid for Best Western hotel stays worldwide.
