The email title from American Airlines (AA) today caught me eye. “You’ve been upgradedâ€. I opened the email to see:
Flying First Class on LAX-LAS, a 236 mile flight.
I’ve flown 31,467 EQM since launching my AAdvantage fast-track to elite on September 2. My status was upgraded to AAdvantage Executive Platinum on Tuesday, September 29. Three days later I have my first confirmed complimentary upgrade.
I will have logged 37,533 flight miles and AAdvantage EQM when I touch down in Los Angeles before my first American Airlines upgraded flight of 2015 next week. And I will finish my AAdvantage elite fast-track itinerary next week with 39,131 EQM when I touchdown in Monterey, California to reconnect with home and family.
Cheers!
(as I raise my beer bottle over Clermont-Ferrand and drink to successful flight mission accomplished).
Fischer biere to celebrate in France this flight upgrade news with wishes for many more upgrades for me and you in 2016.
