American AAdvantage sent me an email for a fantastic targeted elite fast-track offer. Currently, I do not have any elite level membership with AAdvantage. In 2013, I was American AAdvantage Platinum elite and I flew US Airways to San Francisco to Dublin last November.
Here is my fantastic American AAdvantage elite fast-track offer:
AAdvantage Gold only requires 6,000 elite-qualifying miles EQM. A single round-trip to Europe, South America or Asia can earn AAdvantage Platinum with 12,000 elite-qualifying miles. I’ll be looking for the return of those $600 fares to Brazil.
San Francisco to Rio de Janeiro via JFK is 14,444 EQM. This $558 fare is from May 2015. I’ll be searching for deals like this over the next month.
At 30,000 EQM, I can earn Executive Platinum with the elite benefit of systemwide upgrades and waived award fees. That elite level can be reached in two long-haul international trips.
Elite status with this offer is valid through February 28, 2017.
I had to register for this offer by July 7. My registration was completed yesterday.

Needless to say, my future air travel plans for August and September will be focused on Oneworld airlines. I was planning to take a trip somewhere in the USA in September. Now, it looks like I will be planning an international trip or two when another low fare long-haul itinerary comes around with Oneworld airlines.
