CostcoTravel.com has a good discount deal on car rentals. I rented a car today from Orlando MCO airport in June for $3.95 per day base rate. After tax and fees the rental rate is $11.02 all-in per day from Avis for a standard size car.
My wife does not know yet, but I am going on a CostcoTravel.com $11 per day rental car drive out of Florida road trip in June with a 5-day one-way rental to Knoxville, Tennessee TYS. Sure hope Kelley does not microwave my record albums while I am in the backwoods meth and moonshine towns of Appalachian North Carolina and Tennessee.
An Avis standard sized car will be my daytime home for driving the back roads of the southeastern states.
The next list of IHG PointBreaks in late May is one I anxiously await, with faith there will be sufficient hotels on the list in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee to route my way from Orlando to Knoxville at 5,000 points per night.
