Another summer air travel deal available today is Star Alliance San Francisco to Gothenburg, Sweden pricing as low as $604 round trip for late July or August departures. The lowest $604 fare is United and $639 is Lufthansa. There are combinations of routes and carriers available with United, Lufthansa, Swiss and SAS.

There are so many deals to Scandinavia right now. It is unlikely there will be lower fares for summer travel, but who knows? There have been many low fares posted the past few days.
I keep finding low fares on Swiss Airlines for travel from SFO to Sweden via Zurich through Google Flights, but I have not been able to get the fare to the booking stage.
