Quorvus Collection, a luxury hotel brand for the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group was announced in February 2014 at the Radisson conference in Bloomington, Minnesota. The initial members for Quorvus Collection were two Missoni branded hotels, a Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group luxury brand of two hotels that never participated in Club Carlson. The Missoni brand was dropped and Quorvus Collection was born in 2014.
The G&V Royal Mile Hotel in Edinburgh and Symphony Style Hotel in Kuwait were the two initial hotels in Quorvus Collection in a May 2014 announcement. The May Fair London was also listed as an initial Quorvus Collection member with its transition to Quorvus Collection anticipated for summer 2014.
Now it has been more than one year after the launch of Quorvus Collection and ten months since the first three Quorvus Collection hotels were announced in May 2014. The May Fair, London is still listed on the Quorvus Collection website as “coming soon”.
One change that went into effect immediately after the initial announcement of the Quorvus Collection was the introduction of Club Carlson category 7 hotels at 70,000 points per night. The highest category up to February 2014 was category 6 hotels at 50,000 points per night.
G&V Royal Mile, Symphony and The May Fair were 3 of 11 hotels to populate the new 2014 Club Carlson category 7 hotel rewards.
There have been no new category 7 additions since the introduction of Club Carlson category 7 hotel reward nights.
