It’s going to be a “Curio” not a “DoubleTree”, according to the Hilton Website.

I received an email announcement about the Westin Diplomat being a Curio Collection. I did not expect it to become a DoubleTree.

I realized this yesterday when I received an email from Starwoods indicating that the nights I reserved at the Diplomat over the Winter Holiday with Starpoints were being cancelled.

There are no other hotels in the Starwoods system in the Miami area that are at the same level and are appealing to me. The response I’ve gotten from Starwoods is that I will likely incur costs if I reserve at a higher level hotel.

    I’m confused and angry!
