InterContinental Chicago O’Hare rebranded to Loews Chicago O’Hare and YouFirst Benefits

The InterContinental Chicago O’Hare Hotel rebranded to Loews Chicago O’Hare this week after Loews Hotels completed its acquisition of the 556-room hotel located less than two miles from Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. The hotel is located across the street from Donald E. Stephen’s Convention Center in Rosemont.

Loews Chicago O’Hare runs a complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle.

Hotel amenities feature 60 guest room suites. The hotel features Montrose Room, a live music and comedy club venue. The Ice Bar offers evening martinis and cocktails and beer.

Three restaurants for dining include Fresco 21: A Mediterranean Kitchen, McCormick and Schmick’s seafood and The Capital Grille for steaks.

Loews Chicago O’Hare has an introductory special rate offer including breakfast and drinks for two.

Loews is a small hotel chain that now has 22 branded hotels across the USA and Canada. Loews plans to open a new build hotel in downtown Chicago February 2015. Loews recently added Graves 601 Minneapolis to its portfolio and renamed the hotel Loews Minneapolis Hotel.

Lucky of One Mile at a Time reviewed the hotel in 2010 when it was the InterContinental Chicago O’Hare.

Loews YouFirst loyalty program has three elite tiers:

Blue: 2 to 4 stays in a rolling 12-month period.

Gold: 5 to 9 stays

Platinum: 10+ stays

YouFirst Gold offers free internet. One of the best looking deals is upgrade to a suite for $50 per night, if available.
