Hyatt free 100 bonus points for Year of the Horse

Many travel blogs have posted a Hyatt Gold Passport Chinese New Year’s offer for 100 free bonus points. Simply enter your Gold Passport number between Jan 22 and February 15, 2014 and clink the “Open My Gift” button for 100 points.

The fine print states only members who received this offer are eligible and only one bonus per member. I read about the offer on several blogs and then tried it myself on Friday, Jan 24. The 100 bonus points posted to my account on the same day.

There is a chance that the points can be removed in a later sweep, but I doubt it.

This looks like a true gift from Hyatt Gold Passport in the Year of the Horse.

    Worst case scenario that gift horse will take all 100 points back 🙂
    With 30000 room redemption nights not a lot to look forward too
    I think they can afford the gesture based on their massive devaluations
