  i have no real PC balance, and these locations don’t fit my travel plans but looking into the future. If I build my balance so that I can jump when there is a good promo, what is the policy if I book then change my mind. Do the points get refunded, do i pay a fee?

  The Latham NY property is near ALB. If you have a car, the hotel is 10 -15 minutes from downtown Albany NY.

  Regular cancellation policies apply. Review the policy before you reserve so you know the cancel deadline. No fee to put points back into account. In my experience the points go right back in no problem.

  Just FYI…the Intercontinental Suites hotel in Cleveland is not the same as the Intercontinental hotel in Cleveland. They are both connected to each other on the Cleveland Clinic campus. The “Suites” hotel is behind the true Intercontinental hotel. I haven’t stayed at either property before, so can’t comment on real differences between the two. Though I just wanted to point this out, as I believe the “Suites” hotel isn’t quite as nice.

  @Jon – at 5,000 points per night for InterContinental Suites Cleveland, I don’t think most people will care if it is not as nice. Sounds good to me that you can walk right over to the nicer hotel.

  Do the hotels allow guests to share facilities?

  One of these days I will get to Cleveland to see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

  Looks like the best property on that list must be the Crowne Plaza Istanbul. I remember it was very well-located, right near the Blue Mosque and the lobby looked really nice.
