Best Western Rewards summer offer is a free night certificate after three stays from June 17 to August 19, 2012. There is a one free night certificate limit per member. Free night voucher expires January 31, 2013.

This promotion is limited to residents of USA, Canada, Bahamas and US Virgin Islands.

Bonus Offer: Pay for three stays with Best Western MasterCard and earn 1,000 bonus points. This is a one-time offer of 1,000 points after three stays and not 1,000 points per stay.

Separate Aeroplan 6,000 Miles Offer: Aeroplan members can choose to earn 2,000 Aeroplan miles per stay for three stays and 6,000 total Aeroplan miles. This offer is in lieu of the free night certificate.

Q. What is the partner offer for the Summer promotion (June 17 – August 19, 2012)?

A. Best Western Rewards® and Aeroplan® members who complete a qualified stay between June 17th and August 19th, 2012 will earn 2,000 Aeroplan Miles per stay, up to 3 stays. The bonus miles earned will be 1,750 per stay that is in conjunction with the standard earning structure of 250 miles per stay. Maximum number of points that can be earned during the promotion period is 6,000 Aeroplan Miles.

Q. Can a Best Western Rewards member earn a promotional free night voucher AND Aeroplan bonus miles during the summer promotion period?

A. No. Best Western Rewards members who are part of the Aeroplan program and have registered for the

Aeroplan summer bonus miles offer are not eligible to earn a free night voucher. Best Western Rewards members can only be registered for one promotion code during the promotional time frame.

Aeroplan miles have the advantage of being earned for each hotel stay. This might be a better offer if you have one or two stays planned, but you will not reach 3 stays for the free night offer.

Loyalty Traveler analysis

This Best Western free night offer is one of the better values for summer hotel stays. The upper tier Best Western Hotels are 32,000 and 36,000 points for a free night. This offer has the potential of earning a $200+ free night with a spend requirement as low as $200 for 3 one-night stays.

I favor the Club Carlson offers for Radisson 50,000 points and Country Inn for 44,000 points as the best offers. The Club Carlson promotions end July 15. Marriott Rewards offers a free night certificate for a category 1-4 hotel after two stays from June 1-August 31 with a 3 free nights limit.

    If I had a vacation coming up and I was planning on staying at a Best Western for 4 days, is there anyway to just checkout/back in to make this work as “3 stays” rather than just 3 nights. Or would 3 consecutive nights satisfy this promo? Anyway to work the system to make my stays get me the free certificate?

    @Everett – to get multiple stays you need nonconsecutive nights at the same hotel or consecutive nights at different hotels.

    My parents are doing this promotion next week by alternating reservations for each night at one Best Western Hotel. The first night is my mother’s reservation and the second night my father’s and third night back to mother’s reservation and so on.

    The best you can do by yourself at one hotel on four nights is stay somewhere else one of the nights and you can get two stays out of the other three nights as long as they are not consecutive nights.

    My parents recently did this and when they went to redeem their free night, they were told they couldn’t until six weeks later. Sounds like a scam to me.
