Homewood Suites web site has posted this page for the new Hilton HHonors free night promotion that begins with check-ins on Thursday, January 7 and check-outs through March 31. Earn a free night for every 4 stays or 10 nights at a Hilton brand hotel. Maximum of 3 free nights may be earned with this promotion after 12 stays or 30 nights.
Registration is required at http://www.hiltonhhonors.com/anightonus is required for free night credit. The registration link will be active Thursday, January 7.
This offer cannot be combined with select promotional rates or bonus points and/or miles offers.
HHonors reward certificate for a free night will be emailed to address in Hilton HHonors account profile. There are no further details on free night redemption restrictions. This detail is still the great unknown.
Jan 5 update: Advance advertising in Delta Skymiles magazine states the free night is good for any hotel brand including Waldorf-Astoria Collection and for any night of the week. The HHonors free night certificate may turn out to be valid systemwide. We will know in the next couple of days. The possibility of a free night at a Hilton resort, Conrad Hotel, or Waldorf Astoria Collection property will make this promotion a first rate offer with leverage opportunity.
Hilton Worldwide consists of nine hotel brands including Hilton Hotels, Doubletree Hotels, Hampton Inn & Suites, Embassy Suites, Conrad Hotels, Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites, Hilton Grand Vacations, and the Waldorf Astoria Collection.
Hilton can use a first rate offer in the face of the likely outcry coming January 15 when we learn the extent of the HHonors hotel category changes for 2010. The changes have still not been released to HHonors members.
This promotion is good incentive for Hilton stays during the first quarter of 2010. This free nights promotion is a good talking point diversion from the soon to be 50,000 points free night reward for the new HHonors Category 7 hotels.
