Hyatt customer service told me these rates apply for Faster Free Nights credit.

San Francisco area sample rate checks reveal some great deals compared to rate checks for weekend nights I found last week.

Hmm. Terms and conditions say “Offer is not valid for groups/conventions and may not be combined with any other promotional offers.” — so I guess no 2500 UA miles for two stays?

Do you have the FFN combinability in writing?

Interestingly, I find the same $48 rate for the Fremont Hyatt Place if I just search for the best available rate for a date in Nov without entering any offer code). It comes up as the lowest (prepaid) rate, with the following conditions:

    ——-
    Rate Description:
Reduced Rate: Tax Excluded: Full Prepayment and Non-Refundable at Time of Booking. Book Dates: October 5, 2009-October 9, 2009 Stay Dates: October 25, 2009-December 31, 2009 -Any Reduction in Nights or Date Changes Will Result in Forfeit of the Payment For the Nights No Longer Confirmed.

    Cancellation Policy:
    Full Prepay at Booking/Non Refundable
    Deposit Policy:
Deposit Required By October 7, 2009. Deposit By Credit Card Required. 1 Night(S) Deposit Will Be Charged To Credit Card.
    ——-

Since it doesn’t say anything about non-combinability here, I’d think they’d have a hard time denying the 2500 mile credit.

    Hi Oliver,

I have requested a written response from Hyatt regarding combinability of 2,500 miles promotion and Next Big Thing FFN.

So far the one term I have had a consistent response on when discussing promotions with Hyatt customer service is this miles bonus is combinable with The Next Big Thing promotion.

In writing currently is Gold Passport Concierge’s FlyerTalk post stating members who choose to earn miles are eligible for FFN or 3,000 bonus points.

The issue of combinable promotions on rate discounts tends to mean not combinable with another type of rate discount.

One good thing about Hyatt’s website for the consumer is the limited time offer (LTO) rates generally come up with a default search and do not require entering special codes.
