2000 Bonus Points and Discount Meals in Mid-Atlantic Hyatts

Hyatt has a Summer Getaway promotion for 2000 bonus points with most Hyatt hotels in the Washington, DC area participating for stays through September 4, 2008.  The package rate includes 50% off breakfast ( for up to four people, alcohol excluded).  Hyatt Regency Washington is limited to 30%.

Hyatt Regency Washington is currently undergoing a restaurant remodel and is not participating in the 50% off breakfast, however, room rates are being discounted 30% for stays of 3 nights or more during this promotion.  (Loyalty Traveler sends a public thank you to the observant Hyatt employee for correcting my error. 8-7-08)

Use Special Offer Code: MIDGP  (insert in Special Offer Code box on Hyatt.com reservations page.)

Participating hotels:

o   Hyatt Arlington

o   Hyatt Regency Baltimore

o   Hyatt Regency Bethesda

o   Hyatt Regency Crystal City

o   Hyatt Dulles

o   Hyatt Fair Lakes

o   Hyatt Regency Reston

o   Hyatt Regency Washington

o   Grand Hyatt Washington

Sample rate checks by Loyalty Traveler showed the MIDGP rate to be as low as the best internet only rates for this special offer.

Hyatt currently has several special package offers which include free breakfast.  The Grand Hyatt Washington for August 1, 2008 showed $167 Awaken Package rate including breakfast for two and a 1pm checkout.

The Summer Getaway package rate at $119 offers 50% off full breakfast buffet for up to four persons and 2,000 Gold Passport bonus points.

This is a good deal for points and Washington DC hotel rates, along with an abundance of free entertainment in the museums and streets, make the city a great vacation bargain for this summer.
